National Institute of Open Schooling
Seba Jagat is affiliated to The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) an autonomous organisation in pursuance of National Policy on Education 1986 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
Access to education is not a distant dream
Literacy is an important and primary index of educational development. In broad terminology the socio-economic and cultural factors can be outlined as poverty. Addition to it deprived economic conditions, social customs, and cultural ethos, lack of awareness and understanding of the value of formal education above all the conflict and gap between the home and school, etc. The inevitable economic condition makes educational deprivation among the rural poor tribal. Many reasons are responsible children dropout from school after elementary education and they support in their family earning and income too. To equilibrium education to the underprivileged section National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is running its open schooling program. Through taking advantages Seba Jagat has been affiliated with NIOS and they recognized us as Special Accredited Institution for Education of Disadvantaged (SAIED) and Accredited Vocational Institution (AVI) in Kalahandi District. Our SAIED code no is 450118 and AVI no is 650032.
This linkages with NIOS was truly established by our technical vocational training partner FVTRS, Banglore. Our heartiest courtesy to FVTRS for their cooperation and support to bringing the changes of education scenario of our unprivileged section of society.
